How is her insistence on “us” not her own convenience?

At least they’re communicating..It depends if he never wants to talk to her.It also depends if she never wants to give him his private time.

Compromise is the ONLY glue that holds a relationship together. The other two choices are “Slave/Master” or “None!” – Neither of which is a healthy “relationship,” no matter how long it continues.

OMG! She makes women look like nutcases. Dude, seriously show her the door. No way I would do that or allow anyone to do that to me. Grow some!

She has something to tell him, and he had better listen. These relationships can have consequences.

I think there was an interesting take on a similar situation in “Pardon My Planet” this morning… The guy is reading the newspaper (do they still print those things?) and the woman says, “Thanks for pretending to listen to me. That way I can pretend to have told you something but you must not have been listening.” (My apologies for referencing one that doesn’t appear in GoComics but it just seemed so appropriate…)

See where this is going? He’s gonna realize his non-sexual “relationship” with Jane is better than what he’s got going with Dixie. Long term, though, both would be better off in a real relationship.

Typical modern relationship. We do what we want to do and what we want to do is always what the woman wants to do. Get used to it or get used to being alone.
