He later left to draw “Our Team Is De Best, See?” and Working Daze was taken over by a succession of others over the decades.

This is pre-1920’s, so before that water bottle craze. And the 57 is only a reference to the Woolworth building; this is a different building. And it’s a walkup. After all, even then, this was MMM (although the initials didn’t yet mean Micro Macro Media)
Is that Rita’s great grandmother? If so, then maybe Rita has some sort of memento in her present office. If so, let’s just hope that one of the men in the office doesn’t break it.
Fun! It is always enjoyable to try a little twist on things; in those daze plastic did not exist yet and a water bottle is total anachronism. She would have a small pot of tea at her desk (in a cosy) and just might take a cup with her to the hall.
