This is a surprisingly affectionate letter coming from Lucy.

“Dear Linus, I almost wrote you a letter… "

I’m trying to figure out if Lucy’s selfish or giving. She has a twist about her.

Any graphologist here?

Notice she put ‘your sister’ instead of ‘love.’

You know, they don’t teach script handwriting anymore, so I can’t help but wonder, will the next generation even be able to read what Lucy wrote?

With a sister like Lucy, who needs an enemy?

At least she’s honest, and she’s writing something. She could be ignoring him.

Well, at least she made the effort. lol

Maybe Snoopy should send air drop to Linus from the Sopwith Camel!

Why isn’t Lucy at camp with her brother?

Lucy is so cute! What a sweet girl to think of her brother and buying him cookies. It is totally understandable for her to eat it herself, but it’s the thought that counts.

That will be some nice time. “Hi I bought you some cookies and them ate them.” WOW

Lucy’s destined to be a bartender. What else would someone giving pseudo-psychiatric advice from lemonade stand be good at?

I bet he’s already having a lovely time at camp with Roy… Once he gets the letter he should tear it up into tiny shreds.

It will be very much like tearing HER into tiny shreds. The feeling would be incredible.

Dear Lucy,Glad you enjoyed the cookies. Wish you were here. The chef at the camp is here this summer from his 5-star resort where he is working on next-year’s menu and using us as taste-testing subjects. All food free-of-charge to the camp. The food is incredible. I’ve never eaten so well.

I see Lucy is staying within the expected norms for her.

I thought she was going to camp too. How come he had to go and she didn’t?

Lucy can be a pain but give her a break at least she wrote a letter some kids never get letters….I have this strip it’s in the book with Snoopy and the birds…..thought today would be the strip where Linus quotes from the Bible St. Paul’s letter (I think)

I’m just going to guess she’s one of those “tsundere” types.
