Why are my cat’s the greatest in the world? They always do their business outside, even in the winter….I never have to change the litter…Good Kitties! Keep up the good work…

We have a special made-for-the-purpose rug in front of the litter box that catches the tracked-out litter.

We always put the litter tray inside a large cardboard box with an [_] opening cut into the side- gives the kitty privacy and catches most litter that gets out through kicking, etc. I put some baking soda in the bottom of that and the litter tray and it seems to work fine for when my kitty can’t be outside, which he prefers.

An old man in Mississippi is sitting on his front porch watching the sun rise. He sees the neighbor’s kid walk by carrying something big under his arm. “Hey boy, whatcha got there?” “Roll of chicken wire.” “What you gonna do with that?” “Gonna catch some chickens.” “You damn fool! You can’t catch chickens with chicken wire!”

The boy just laughs and keeps walking. That evening at sunset, the boy comes walking by, dragging behind him the chicken wire with about 30 chickens caught in it.

The next morning, the old man is out watching the sun rise and he sees the boy walk by carrying something in his hand. “Hey boy, whatcha got there?” “Roll of duct tape.” “What you gonna do with that?” “Gonna catch me some ducks.” “You damn fool! You can’t catch ducks with duct tape!”

The boy just laughs and keeps walking. That night around sunset the boy walks by, trailing behind him the unrolled roll of duct tape with about 35 ducks caught in it.

The next morning, the old man sees the boy walking by carrying what looks like a long reed with something fuzzy on the end. ‘’Hey boy, whatcha got there?" "It’s a pussy willow." “Wait up…I’ll get my hat.”

Why would Luddie get all four paws stuck? He’s a cat. The first step would make him stop.

We put the litter box in the center of an old piece of carpet. The cats would JUMP over it to avoid stepping on the rug. A broom and a dust pan work just as well.

. . . So, technically, if we were to talk about “duck” tape, we’d capitalize it, since it’s a brand name: Duck Tape®.

hehe yeah a rug or special litter catcher never works with my cat either… he leaps right over it and the cat always takes off out of the litter box like the hounds of hell are after him so he strews litter a good 5 feet!

Duct tape is used on duct work. It is never used close to the heat source. And neither is Aluminum tape.

I bought a little dust buster just for the stray litter. Works great. Vac & dump it right back in the pan.

@chireef—-duct/duck tape is not used on ducts as such, but on the ducting pieces of aluminum tubing. It helps hold the pieces together & keep air from leaking out where pieces join together. I believe that was its original use until many other uses were continuously discovered for this tape of many uses. I think that a similar metal tape is now used instead. I think that “Duck” is a brand name of “duct” tape.

On Mythbusters they have built boats and planes with the stuff. They were dropped on an island with a pallet of the stuff and were able to fashion everything they needed to survive and escape.

I trained our cat to do his business on the toilet. As long as the lid is up and the seat is down he just goes there. No litter, no mess, clean feet cause he’s not scratching through dirty litter. I love it.

“Duck Tape” now comes in lots of colors and patterns and is used for crafts and prom dresses and suits. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=moz35&va=Duck+Tape

It’s not just for ducts any more.
