The corporate world is like a ham and cheese omelette: the cow participated, the chicken made a contribution, but only the pig showed the level of commitment we expect in this company!

Change the word ‘corporate’ to ‘Washington’ and you have the ‘changer-in-chief’.

Usually in a corporate culture, the order of sacrifices starts at the bottom, with the workers.…Once their numbers have been decimated, time and again, then they go after middle management, which in a diamond-shaped organization, is probably where most of the “fat” was in the first place.…Eventually, once middle management’s numbers have been reduced, then they go after senior managment.…The problem here is that the problems in any corporate culture start at the “brains” of the outfit, but they are the ones that take the least of the hits that the rest of the body suffers.

Please don’t tell me you’re referring to those awful links to the Great Old Ones created by August Derleth.

.I don’t think the gods would be happy with an exec as a sacrifice. They rank lower than lawyers on the cosmological scale. Even Tlazolteotl, the Eater of Filth, wouldn’t touch them.
