One of the many things that make me glad I retired.BTW, if you’re trying to solder on Aluminum, melt a blob of liquid solder then scratch with the tip of the iron. That penetrates the oxide layer of the Al and makes soldering possible.

No . . . use Kappaloy 85% Tin / 15% Zinc. Ideal for soldering aluminum to copper or aluminum to fruit.

You don’t need solder….just stick the wires into the melon.
