There are good reasons to ridicule the Detroit CEOs, but flying a corporate jet is not one of them. The fact that not one of them had the guts to defend the perfectly valid business decision of a corporate jet is a reflection of the general corporate cowardice of the typical drab, gray CEO.
And congress has the audacity to ridicule them when ms. pelosi had to have a bigger jet to get to California because the old one didn’t have the range to make the trip without a fuel stop? At a cost to us of 60k per trip???
Ms. Pelosi is third in line to be King er: President and does have a large security force that travels with her. Another stop would entail more security problems and likely cost more than the bigger plane. The B—h still needs to get out of Congress. She is a kook.
Long live the King er: President.
If the Big Three had shown up in alternative fuel cars their companies made, they would have got what they asked for, and great PR to boot. The sad thing is that never occurred to them.

Actually, I wondered why the execs didn’t take Amtrak to DC. Probably a conflict having to do with all the rail subsidies…

Hey…it’s “O’ Brother, Where Art Thou?” You will see wonderous things…a cow on the roof of a cottonhouse or a business exec in coach.
