Une Nouvelle Graphique
Man: There you are.
Prisoner: Wha...?
Man: N...n... ...Nooooo!
Kate: Um...is there a point to this "graphic novella" Danae?
Danae: Yes, to exploit adolescent boys, then swing a major movie deal.

You might want to follow your own advice about doing some research. This cartoon originally ran on 4-19-09. This is a vacation reprint. Why the angry response to such a small matter?
I think itâs called ânostalgia.â So many adults today played with Transformers as kids that it would stupid NOT to cash in on it. For some of us, though, those memories arenât pleasant and movies like that just inspire dire antipathy.
âOh, jees. A vacation reprint? You should warn us. What a letdown. Only Doonesbury does that!â
Ok, youâre going to have to explain this to me, as I have no idea why this would be a âlet downâ. First of all, no, itâs not just Doonesbury that takes vacations. A lot of cartoonists do it. But more importantly, you didnât know this was a reprint until I pointed it out to you. When you read the cartoon today, you werenât âlet downâ. Third, donât you get vacation time in your job?
Plot = Mr. Bluepoint supersentient, resenting banishment from the Pointless Forrest, is more than a match for the professional assassins sent to rub him out. He trains a band of misfits to take down the ruthless Boxer Inc. before they destroy the world.

if you really want to exploit adolescent boys, you need scantily clad women.

Being Danae, the error is understandable, but that should be âUne bande dessinĂ©eâ.

Once in a while Danae comes up with a scheme that is scary in how well it would work in real life.
