I’m reluctantly compelled to second your opinion. I like this strip, not least because it’s one of the few using British English and milieu. I do, however, not like this response column since it’s been hijacked by a particular cabal as a sort of online clubhouse. These people should restrict their socialising to some other and more appropriate forum.

Umm, anybody have a comment about the strip? Iwonder what happens if the test doesn’t work and the pigeon doesn’t find its way home. Kind of an expensive way of generating an excuse to sneak off to the pub.

If you don’t like the comments simply don’t read them!

Yesterday the GoComics site was down (for me at least) from mid-afternoon onward (Central time). Anybody else have this problem? I won’t be doing much commenting today. Too may other fish to fry.

If have said this several times before and it is unfortunate that I must repeat it again. Everyone – and I mean everyone – is entitled, within the bounds of decency, to express themselves in this comment section in whatever way they chose !There is no written law that says it must have relevance to the strip. In many of the more political and social strips ie. Doonesbury, a much larger percentage of the comments have absolutely nothing to do with the strip but are daily reiterations of a particular individual’s political and social beliefs – often expressed with vitriol and animus.Personally, I find the banter and light hearted socializing on this strip refreshing, but that’s only my opinion.This is a free country. If you don’t like the comments, don’t read them. Simple as that. Stop kvetching ! Life is too short – especially give the age of most of our commentators.Don’t feel excluded, jealous, or resentful that a ‘clique’ has “high jacked” you favorite comic. Either join in or ignore the comments, but don’t begrudge others their right of free expression.

The first might get removed by ‘host’? Anyways Sunday [colour, full-page] Pogos are a visual treat; the words could be Aramaic and there’s a Story there. even the Wall texture has details! Mondo visual appeal.

These are a little cheaper than McGuckins so I ordered four more and they will be sent to Jack & Eileen’s. I will promptly replace those batteries with the better ones when I get there. -The price on the linked one is incorrect. $8.58 apiece. If it had free shipping the final fee would have been lower. Barely under $40, as it is.-I have the shower rod clips modification done and we held the whole thing up in the tub earlier to see how it will look when it is screwed in. Joe is doing the window trim today and possibly at the wall and ceiling too. I hope the curtain fix works, I spent an awful lot of time researching, running around and painstaking fabrication. -I sliced a couple skin layers off the tip of my thumb last evening while slicing cabbage. A little messy, but I hustled straightaway to the bath to get a bandage on it. It smarted… or should I say stupided pretty good bad !-The weather has been fab here. One has to do a preemptive reply to be left at Turnover...Both Pogos are up as of 12:10 Mtn time.The first one is a sharper image even if it looks like it was directly copied from a newspaper page.Thanks for bringing those, Bugger. ..I think today’s was fine. Brewster has a pin in his leg, a local Vet was able to do the surgery after all. He will have the pin in for 4 weeks, still needs hip work done, at a later date. He’s a feisty little “goomer”. He’s getting around pretty good. She has him in a playpen when they aren’t there. When they are there, he tries to go up the steps and all sorts o stuf! :-D Thanks for asking.

Some of you handy guys should get together and help Andy clean the dropings out of his pigeon loft (and this strip also).
