This storyline makes my head feel like the Iron Sheik has me in the Camel Clutch. I may have to tap out until football season.

I’ve lost all sense of time. A quick review of July would appear to show that it’s two or three days since Pop beat up the punks. Part of that time he was in Central City. This scene in the Subwich store makes no sense.

Who’s Count Von Gore? Does Subwich sell chili dogs? Does that freckly kid outweigh Herk by 50 lbs? I agree with Chip that this is only day two. It won’t be day three until Herk changes his shirt again.

I want more details on those chili dogs—with or without onions?

Bear-Keep your political comments to your self please. This is a forum for people who wish Jack Berrill was still around and doing this strip.

I think Pops is beginning to look like Ed Asner now. I wonder who he’ll resemble tomorrow?

Kind of creepy seeing the old man do the universal beat off sign right in front of, probably an underage, young lady.

I’m waiting for Pops to invite his buddy Haystacks Calhoun to lunch so they can eat Subwich out of business and we can get to the riveting action of the MCC polo finals. Marty Moon is doing live reporting from a spring horse in the parking lot. Is this plot a running commentary on the faithful readers of the Thorp strip? I don’t know, but I’ve gotta get a sandwich, if I can find the way there.

Wow, look how big those sandwiches are! I wish we had things like that here at the orphanage. Well, better get back to my gruel before it gets cold.

Neal and Rod have thrown away our summer hiatus for this pointless exercise. No Kenny Lark, no Molly, no Mrs. Lark, no John Jawor….nothing.

Makes the Brody Abro storyline look like a Pulitzer prize winner!HRAAAAK!
