With the obesity rate in my area, it would take a Quadradox. I’m a chiro. I’m currently treating 3 EMTs. Two of them got hurt trying to move a guy who weighed almost 500 pounds. I get patients all the time that my scale can’t weigh; it maxes out at 350lb.
A lot of the time they are trying to get these people down stairs and narrow hallways. The confines keep them from being able to put extra people around the stretcher.
While working in a prison system, two PHD’s were talking while standing in the hallway. I walked by and, after saying “good morning”…said "Hmm….what we have here is a paradox….they both laughed.
Redo: Thirdguy said, “That’s the EMTs job” This was also the first thing I thought of when I read the comic! (I don’t think interns even do that! …Except in hollie2009ad’s case) ;)
I was a guest at Univ of Mich Hospital for six weeks, and they have an entire staff of people they call the “lift team” whom they call upon to move patients or help them out of bed. And if they couldn’t get the lift team quickly, the nurses would do it. I never once had a doctor lift me.

Docs would never get their hands dirty doing that. That’s the EMTs job!

I always thought a paradox was a couple of places where you could tie up your boat.
