I figure if you can’t see the difference when the vacuum passes then there is no need to vaccum. :)

I sometimes do things like that when I’m wearing headphones. Can’t hear a thing outside of ’em, even with the music low.

I’m surprised Opal did not see the light turn on in the vacuum. She know there is a switch. So not buying not knowing the vacuum was not turned on. All she needs is turn the switch on.

The first time I used a vacuum cleaner I noticed after a while fewer things were going into it. I thought it must just be clean then I got ready to clean out the bag and noticed it was completely full from top to bottom.I contemplated how probable it was that it would fill up just as I finished and decided to vacuum again.The next time it quit picking up, I cleaned it out and continued cleaning.Eventually I went from one end to the other without filling the bag and never had the problem again.Good thing I bought the vacuum cleaner.

Whoops! Well… That’s life.

My first thought she ran over them with the vacuum. My second thought was Opal was teasing Earl, or was going to blame him once again for something lol

REALLY funny…but in some ways, not so funny. I live at a 55+ apartment complex, and sooooo many people cannot really hear, even WITH hearing aides. Is it inevitable ? I hope not.

Upright vacuums are also self-propelled, she would notice how difficult it would be to push without the beater bar spinning. Same effect when the belt breaks, the motor is on, you can still feel a greater resistance when pushing though.

Poor soul.
