It is just me, or is the phrase “or are Omari” a tongue-twister?

I just realized that I keep reading this strip because I’m dead and this is my eternal punishment.

Troy Costello is a dead ringer for Spike, the bully who was always after Sluggo in the Nancy comic strip.

Gil Thorp in “Too Many Troys”…

Omari Troy and Troy Costello. Remember those names in that order Gil fans because that will be an Alex Trebek answer on Jeopardy one of these days. The clue in the before and after category will be: These two broken-nose, trash talking offensive lineman headlined a forgettable 2012 Fall storyline in the Gil Thorp strip.

Big Silent One is going to knock some Quiet into them when Gil gets him on the squad, or else he’s going to be a huge Cheerleader Mime.

Pascoe is either Chief from “Cuckoo’s Nest” or Samson from “Longest Yard.”“I think I broke his f#$%in’ neck!”

I think everyone needs to “ease up pal”. While I haven’t posted as long as most of you, I’ve read the comments for a long time. It’s all in good fun. For instance, there have been comments about the thumbs up and the knuckles not lining up. But have you ever tried making a thumbs up sign with huge hands??? We should not comment on her looks because I think she’s really, really, REALLY super nice. Now let’s all have subwich sandwich or head down to the bucket.
