Janis: What th'....
Janis: All my pictures flashed across my phone!!
Janis: Then the screen lit up bright white and faded out!
Arlo: That doesn't sound good!
Not me! I hated that…everyone else listening in on the coversations…yuck! My mom & grandma used to start talking in Danish – that would get everyone else off the line…lol
That’s so funny! I hate when I call Tech support and they don’t know any more than I do. (not always the case thankfully) At least the phone let Janis see her pictures one last time.
I would rather just go back to the old fashioned land line minus the party line aspect. I’ve never been on a party line and wouldn’t want to be on one either. Some people are too nosy for their own good. As for Janis’ phone, it probably just needs to be charged.
When I was very young, a classmate was visiting, and picked up the phone to call her mom. A conversation was already in progress, and the girl listened in. Pretty soon she was laughing, and my mom had to get on the phone and apologize.
It could be anything from a virus (yes there are cell phone and tablet viruses) to a hardware malfunction. Good luck having someone diagnose it right. Backup, people, backup.
“I’ve had phones die. "-I had a phone drown.Brought it back to life but not before replacing it with a new one.My wife is using the baptised phone but thinking of switching to smarter phone soon.

It had a stroke and died. It’s life flashed before it’s eyes, and then it went towards the light.

Is that anything like drowning? You’re life flashing before your eyes before it’s over.

You can still party, just get with all those with whom you would have listened in.Failing that, you’ve still got us.

Have you tried putting a youngster in front of a rotary phone? Hilarious.

I hate calling tech support only to find out they know less than I do about it. I even had one ask me to call him bad if I found an answer.

I remember those days – they were much different for sure – not sure about how much simpler!
