Reminds me of Georgie Jessel’s old telephone routine, Hello Mama. The story line revolved around Jessel sending home money and gifts to his family. One gift was a very special pet bird. Jessel calls up to see if his mother and the rest of the family appreciated the gift. And you only hear Jessel’s side of the conversation.
Hello Mama did you get my gift and did you like it.
You say you cooked it and it tasted great.
Mama, how could you do that, the bird spoke 7 languages.
Even though chickens are cannibalistic and will eat meat, they are not considered “birds of prey”. Eating a bird of prey or a cat or other hunting animal is not Kosher. They don’t taste good, either.
“How can anyone enjoy anything made of tofu? Is there enough ketchup in the world?”-I like tofu. In Thai dishes, in hot and sour soup. Don’t see why others don’t like unless it isn’t cooked as well as those folks do.

Well, if it was the last of its kind, with no mate around, it would have gone extinct sooner or later anyway, correct?
At least it served a final purpose.

Ben Franklin proposed that the turkey be the symbol of the Untied States. Had this been adopted, would we have roast bald eagle on Thanksgiving?
