Mr. Rogers was great for smaller kids. Then there’s an age where kids thought they were too old for him. Then they got older and realized he was great again. This world needs a lot more Mr. Rogers. (Yet he was called evil by one TV commentator for saying that everyone was special).
You’re all correct in saying that we need more of Mr. Rogers’ type in this world now. Young of age or young of heart, it doesn’t really matter. Here’s to the sweater! (I’m hoisting my morning glass of orange juice)
I never had the good fortune to watch “Mr. Rogers” but, from what I have learned, he was a good man who passed on good knowledge and advice to children in the hopes that they will grow up to be good adults. (I have posted these words on another site as well.)

I do too…he passed away from stomach cancer soon after my mom did. Somehow Fred Rogers made everything OK
