With regard to MHO: I understood it to be the reciprocal of OHM. In other words MHO is a unit of conductance and OHM being a unit of resistance. 1 OHM is defined as the amount of resistance that limits a voltage of 1 volt to a current of 1 ampere in a closed circuit.
