Foolproof method, huh? Are you the fool, Heart?

Why do artist even today still draw rotary dial phones, TVs with rabbit ears, hand cranked movie cameras, and cameras with flash bulbs?

Great plan if it works.

But the group One Direction exists, so they must be in modern time.

I grew up with the rotary.. when touch-tone’s came out, my parents kept the rotary, one day i was fooling around with it, and quickly tapped out on the hook button the numerical value of a friend’s ph# (5taps for 5, and so on) and amazingly my friend’s phone rang!

She should have said it earlier!

Why do artist even today still draw rotary dial phones, TVs with rabbit ears, hand cranked movie cameras, and cameras with flash bulbs? – For the same reason that TV marketing shows communication with a Telephone Handset in an old style handset Fax cradle.

William Shatner tells in “Star Trek Memories” of how the props crew found some futuristic salt shakers at a thrift shop or somewhere for the episode with the salt-sucking monster. The director decided they looked TOO futuristic, so they used recognizable mid-century shakers instead.

The futuristic ones later became medical scanners for Dr. McCoy.
