Earl, get in the car and take her to the nearest optometrist and they will fix her glasses for free, or heck even the eye glass store in WalMart will fix them.

How true!! This is one of the BEST comics, love it!!!!

That’s why you need a second pair of glasses, or you can just get some reading glasses at the dollarama to wear while you tighten the screw.

I have on more the one occasion had this happen to me, or sometimes just have the stems on glasses loosen up. I keep an optical repair kit handy but then can never find that extra pair of glasses to wear while I mend the #@*% ! things.

I can relate to this.

When I was 11 years old, I was in the classroom at school and the glass fell out of one of the frames.

The teacher fixed them for me.

Fortunately, He too wore glasses!

This is why you always keep the last pair of glasses. They are usually good enough to see until you can get the new ones fixed. The trick is to not save the last 10 pairs.
