Sounds like most upper management, plan for months than expect it done in hours or days. Even sometimes telling the minions what they expected as results.

That’s cause their bored to tears. I used to skip a lot.

Over the years those 5 second micro-bursts have become separated by much longer periods of time and a game that took about 2 hours has stretched to well over three hours. Boring…………………………unless of course you’ve bet on the game!

Don’t know how true it is, but I once read that someone measured the actual playing time of a 60 minute football game with a stopwatch. 7 minutes.

Golf moves faster than football, and the scenery is way better.

CubeFarmer, Yeah, the dogma of speaking English well, the dogma of writing well, the dogma of mathematics, the dogma of physics, the dogma of geography, the dogma of history, the dogma of the scientific method…..And best of all, the dogma of knowing how to learn, grow and progress….

Funny, I never noticed the polical leanings affected which teachers were most likly to get mad at me for pointing out their obivious errors. Like the teacher that said I was wrong you couldn’t swallow with out gravity when I said it was the muscles of the esphogus that cause swallowing, then sent me to the principal when I brought up astronauts..Sorry, but the fact is NO one likes to hear that they might be wrong and teachers are just as likly to be right or left leaning. Both will punish people who don’t answer “the right way” be they creationists or communists.
