I remember Oona from Nancy comic books when I was a kid! There was one pretty creepy story that gave me nightmares. Those were the days!

Considering it’s John Stanley realty, his Oona character creation is a pretty good guess……

Oona would be accompanied by Granny and Uncle Eek. This will be a good Halloween story, I hope!

It’s Oona alright. Guy is really mining the history books for characters, which is pretty cool. Speaking of which, the Saturday strip on who once broke Fritzi’s heart? With 90+ years of Fritzi Ritz history, the likely answer is probably Wally, who was phased out of the comic after Phil Fumble appeared.

One might think that John Stanley also has a hotel in Estes Park, CO which inspired “The Shining”, but that belonged to Freeman O. and Francis E. Stanley, also noted for the steam-powered auto they invented to get guests up Big Thompson Canyon from the nearest railroad depot in Loveland.

The only ones who could be moving in are Les and Mor.

Technically, the kids (Wednesday/Pugsley) are still alive.
