When I was a kid, that museum had a giant heart exhibit so big, you could walk through it. I love that exhibit! Its still there. It has a realistic heartbeat and everything! That exhibit is one of the reasons I became a cardiac nurse! It gave me nightmares about 200 foot giant looking for his heart!

I was riding a Destroyer when that was popular. It added about 20 points to crew morale.

There may be two, but absolutely one in Philly. Our school took a field trip there.

Franklin Institute in Philly. The heart is still there, my husband recently took a photo of me in the left ventricle. :)

I remember going through the giant heart when I was a kid, and then years later I took my kids. Hope it’s still there to take my grandchildren in the near future.

The Heart at the Franklin Museum is a new one. Not as good as the original one I went through as a kid. The Franklin Museum has been “modernized” and is no longer nice. The Fels Planetarium no longer has the Planetarium Projector. Used to have skyline around the bottom of the screen.

Hey, NOW you tell me! My younger daughter and I went to Philly in 1983 so she could try out for Curtis. (She didn’t make it.) We saw the Liberty Bell and took a scary walk across the bridge to Rutgers, but the museum would have been a nice addition. (I said “scary” because we met a fellow coming the other way who didn’t seem in full control of his faculties.)

I remember my aunt taking me there when I was a kid, way back in the late 50’s or early 60’s… It was sooooo cool
