Those loopy PETA loons are just addled enough to actually take offense at something like that. In 1996 those Bozos actually demonstrated in the town of Fishkill, NY, demanding that the town be renamed “Fishlive” or some such. “Kill” is a Dutch word for stream and that area was originally settled by the Dutch and has many place names that incorporate “kill.” The PETA ninnies got laughed out of town, but ever since everyone has been holding their breath waiting for them to demonstrate about “Catskill.”
