Wait, last Sunday we had a goblin saying “Blaart” on Dakota’s video log thingy. Was that in homage to the Goblin queen?

Oh no! Dakota is being held captive by Paul Blart, Goblin!

I managed to actually pronounce that name…weird. (Me, that is.) Is Prunella supposed to be attractive? (Since she kinda is.)

Well we learn some thing new every day. Unicorns speak in Umlauts and and Blart was a name not a random sound Goblins shout on the internet Vlogs. Also don’t mess with Dakota. She seems to have every thing under control. I kind of feel bad for the Goblin, but maybe this is actually nothing at all to worry about?

3nd observation, The Queen has a Gatomon from Digimon thing going on with the tail. Also glad to see Dakota is ok, has her hair and isn’t in a cave. Too bad she has not yet over thrown the queen.

I absolutely LOVE Marigold giving Phoebe a pronunciation lesson in the middle of a….mission(?) and umlauts, no less! Also, Dakota’s calm assurance in the face of the Goblin Queen confirms my suspicion that many of the girls I was in grade school with were not far removed from goblins themselves. Thank you, Dana, I feel better now.

If it’s a German “umlaut”, rather than a Greek (and English) “dieresis” (or a Hungarian “double acute accent”), then the “ä” is pronounced like the “e” in “egg”, while the unadorned “a” is pronounced like the “a” in “art”. An unstable phonetic combination, it is derived from Middle Goblinish “Blaȝart”, derived in turn from Old Goblinish “Blaggarð”, “ugly and proud of it”. If no one else is gonna step up, I’ll say it: It may turn out to only be true in this one profile shot, but Queen Prunella’s actually kinda cute. …For a goblin. (I’m going to assume that she’s concerned about losing this staring contest and her posture isn’t always that bad.)
