A friend of mine used to manage a local convenience store at which I worked weekends as a favor to her. The starting wage was one of the lowest in town—not even 2/3 of the starting wage of my full time job. Good, but otherwise inexperienced, employees would work for about three to six months to gain experience, then quit to work for another convenience store at a higher salary. The manager complained to the corporate office about the “revolving door” problem. They promised to raise the starting wage if she could find to other similar local business with higher starting wages. Upon providing the required information, they informed her they would not match the other two businesses because the company thought the other two paid too high of a starting wage. The revolving door continued for good employees, leaving the incompetent and dishonest employees other companies wouldn’t hire. The manager eventually got so frustrated she quit and never again stepped foot in the store her family had been loyal customers to for over 50 years.

Except you’re not a slave. Assuming you bothered to vote, you made you’re choice and were out voted. You’re completely 100% free to move to small government, low tax havens such as Somalia.

That’s still airing? []Ticket sales were so low in my part that the local theater dropped the film in pretty short order.

“He who does not work shall not eat”

-Vladimir Lenin, “The State and Revolution”, 1917..It’s also found in the 1936 Soviet Constitution.“In the USSR work is a duty and a matter of honor for every able-bodied citizen, in accordance with the principle: He who does not work, neither shall he eat.”.How long have you been a supporter of Socialism?
