A series of death traps! This is getting more and more exciting. Kadaver wants to be entertained while he kills. I was confident that they hadn’t forgotten the Wrist Wizard. It sounds like they are going to use it to mislead the MCU. See? Rikki’s wizardry with intercepting broadcast signals is coming in handy.
I wonder just when exactly Rikki’s jamming of the Wrist Wizard began? Was Tracy able to transmit his location until he went underground? Is Rikki’s tech trickery superior to Diet Smith’s electronic sneakiness? Is Tracy ready to confront Kadaver’s covey of chambers of death?BTW, I concur that the art is very strong today, and indeed has been for some time now in this arc.
I agree. Rikki probably has all of the underground area shielded to protect incoming or outgoing signals not sent by Kadaver’s antenna. But we know the wrist wizard does a lot more than just communicate.
I know it’s been said many times, but thank goodness Joe and Mike took over this strip. I was so close to quitting reading, and am so glad I didn’t. Remember the storm in the grainery that carried on for over a month? That nearly ended it for me. Kudos again to Joe and Mike!
My guess is Tracy uses Abner’s signature trick somehow, and fakes his death to escape..^^It wouldn’t be the first time, over the years, Tracy has often seemed to be finished, only to rise up and conquer, just as the criminal is gloating over (what he believes is) Tracy’s corpse.
This story is captivating and a pleasure to read. The art is consistently tremendous. I can’t even choose a favorite panel today, they’re all so good. Rikki looks fetching, even as she does wrong. I hope she survives. Maybe she and Belle can be cell mates…if Belle indeed lived through Broadway’s bullets. looking more and more like Tracy is gonna see what Abner saw in “Saw”.There is usually something the bad guy overlooks that the good guys can use. I just don’t think it’s the broadcast signal. if Rikki can hack Diet smiths tech, she can bounce a signal off towers and satellites all over the world and even change the signal modulation as she is rebounding those photons off everything. they may be able to trace the signal origin, but Abner figures Tracy will be on ice and he will be in another crypt.
