Satchel Pooch: Why would he do that? Bucky Katt: That's how he got super-powers! So why is he still swinging around on silly string! Nuke a mosquito and get it to bite you, too! Bang! You're spider-mosquito-man and you can fly! Lazy. Satchel Pooch: So you don't like any super-heroes? Bucky Katt: Like? No. Fear? Good Lord, no. Again, they're all modified people and people are flawed they should all start with cats. Cats are superior. A cat spine is- Satchel Pooch: A cat spine is a wonder of nature, blah blah blah! Again with the spine thing! Bucky Katt: A cat's spine is highly developed. It allows us to- Satchel Pooch: You wanna know why cat spines are so developed? To help you run away from small dogs! So make spider-man with a cat! You know what spider-cat would be? A chihuahua's novelty chew toy!

I have a big mean cat who jumped down on a pit bull’s back and bit and clawed him to chase him away. I heard the dog screaming, and then I found a puddle of urine on the porch floor and a very satisfied cat sitting on a chair, cleaning her claws. She radiated smugness.

Yeah, Bats is a ninja in some magical “peak physical condition” that lasts more than a couple of years. Rarely sleeps, hardly ever seems to train, but hey, “peak.”
And yet, reboots notwithstanding, he has a long history of being conked in the skull. So often, in fact, he should be utterly incapable of forming complete sentences or buckling his utility belt.

Yes, @Redkaycei, but whether you will have an outcome like the one you recall or the opposite (a dead or maimed cat) depends on many things: the particular cat, the particular dog, the territory, the presence of pals…. But in @Cooncat’s story all those elements are completely and utterly pointless because… there was a chain link fence between them!
