Typo: I was suggesting itās a good season for Toys, Gifts, and Yo-YosI did not want this to get lost in prior lengthy post, but as we celebrate and close the book on this year, and open a brand new fresh, unsullied year, I wish all the best for all of you in the waning days of 2013, with opportunities to celebrate whatever was good in 2013, no matter how small or how great, and looking forward to the possibilities of a brilliant joy-filled 2014. And working towards the joy you want. It is so fulfilling when you work toward something with a hopeful, joyous mind, and can celebrate each little achievement toward your goals, and welcoming new opportunities, keeping our eyes on the goal of making it the best 2014 we can. Iāve said this before, but it bears repeating. I am not trying to force my beliefs on anyone, and if you must secularise the quote or alter it to fit your worldview or belief system:God Bless Us Each and Every One! Tiny TimWith a full heart, JusSayin
Its a practical arrangement for both of them. Holly can pretend to lead from the backpack and save face and Wally can take them where they need to go and NOT have to worry about Holly running off.
I noticed Wallyās eyes changing in each panel. The first seemed to be bewilderment, the second seemed to be realization and the third seems to be irritation.
Like the song goesā¦ āIām at your service, Madamā.ā¦Wally knows better than to get into a fight with Holly. Remember how she dealt with Flask? Ouch!!!
Holly is injured, in shock and disoriented. For someone in that condition, attempting to ātake chargeā is not too surprising. Her immediate environment is out of her control ā¦ she needs to take charge to empower herself; even if her choices are wrong.
Unfortunately, it can be a REALLY bad idea to allow someone in that situation to lead.

I stand by my previous statement that this is going to go as well as letting any green Lt. with a compass and a map lead the squad.

That was a short day. They were just purifying water with the sun. Now it is night?

(Grumbles at her iPad). This is a variation of āleading from behindā. Still, I admire Wallyās patience with his beloved Holly.
