I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor every atom of me in magnificent glow than a sleepy permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live not exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time. -Jack London

Interesting artwork parody of the Green Lantern. Not bad of a quote by the author of “White Fang” and “The Call of the Wild” if you ask me.

@Zen PencilsGavin-sama, have you ever heard of Stan Lee’s Justice League? Because this strip is very evocative of his Green Lantern (Leonard Lewis) and Wonder Woman (Maria Mendoza).

If you want to read something amazing try Jack London’s The Star Rover (also entitled The Jacket). You can get the ebook version free from iBooks, Amazon, or The Gutenburg Project.

I know people keep saying “Green Lantern” but I’m feeling “Blue Lanterns”. Yes, I know they’re affiliated but not the same.
