Resolutions, to me, should be spontaneous, not scheduled. And giving, also. Do it when needed.
Often enough, when asked about making resolutions, some people will try to sabotage you or hound you with questions such as, “Well, have you stopped smoking yet?” or “Have you lost 10 lbs. yet?” etc., etc. So, I just smile and not answer the question.

I never fail to keep my New Years resolutions. Mine is never to make any I can’t keep.
