Tiffany walks in, looking better than all three of them put together, and taking no notice of them at all. Their response? Gratuitous insults, led by the Designated Heroine. In other words, exactly what the true fans of this strip want.

…LOL – Second new name possibly…You know what? You remind me of the old joke about an election in North Korea. As the votes were being counted, one “no” vote was discovered. “This proves that we are a democracy,” said Kim Il Sung, “where all dissenting opinion is allowed.” Then a second “no” vote was discovered. “The scoundrel,” Kim exclaimed, enraged. “He has dared to vote twice. His vote is cancelled!”Obviously, in your universe, there can’t be more than one dissenter. This is why I quit reading this strip some time ago, and only returned after reading comments on another (and very well known comic satire) website. I believe seismic 2 and I are acquainted there. It must be nice to live in a world where everyone but one person agrees with you.

I don’t think that would work because of the placement of the B.^It actually would, if you think about it, (and reference my response to Squoop just above)… Squoop used the letters that are “exactly at the beginning” in both his first and last names….

Actually, we do sing the blues here, in “the Blue”….not the “going through the blues” blues, but the Mrs. and I are rather fond of blue… it’s deep (the ocean) and wide and full of hope (the sky)….. – Of course, there are some great blues/rock numbers and groups that make excellent use of the music blues that we also do enjoy….- That, and SeaJam is a portmanteau of the names of the Mrs. and I (our “real life” names outside of here), that I use for writing projects and such…

I imagine a class at Pitt High School goes something like this: “The Delmarva peninsula (between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean) is so named because it is divided into parts belonging to Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Now that the geography lesson is out of the way, let’s say nasty things about Tiffany!”

Personally, I think that despite the “generalization” of things being one-sided here on “Luann” and on GoComics, that there really is a wide range of thoughts and expressions here and on GC…. – I appreciate the comments of some of our fellow “commenting colleagues” who are also on Comics Curmudgeon, and personally find C.C. to be hilarious, but I have noticed as I had read C.C., that there are quite a few “snark-oriented” digs swimming around a lot there, sometimes seeming to be “for the sake of snarking” as a past-time… so while I enjoy the comments there, I would think that it’s sort of slanted, a bit, in the sense of not many people post on there who don’t already feel similarly… though I think that they do make excellent points there…. - ArcaMax (which also has some of our fellow colleagues on there), seems to be a bit… “bland”… in the sense that some of the things that some of us do on here, would be looked upon as “too zany” or something like that… the commenters there can be witty, but rarely “colorful” like it is, here… – So, in a nutshell, I like being here , because despite the “generalization” that people’s comments are “either too much leaning this way or that way”, if people pay enough attention and read everyone’s posts, there are more varieties of styles of expression and opinion than many would like to believe…. and there’s more room for “original, creative thought and expression”…..

Yes, I did miss it… – Mostly because although I like Duke, C-Jam for some reason gets “stuck in the back folder of my file drawer”…not out of malice, mind you…. and there’s also the alternate title: “Duke’s Place”…..– That, and the fact that I was so busy contemplating my own personal connection to one of today’s “themes”, that I was more focused on that… – And then, there’s the matter of ducking, with all of the “pies” flying, Lol!….

Twenty years from now, Luann will still be talking about this: “Remember when I called Tiffany ‘Snothead’? This is an example of why my daughter had more guy friends. She hated the cattiness of the other girls. Guys might argue or fight, but then it’s over. Not so with females, they never forget a slight.

Okay. So Tiffany is of little significance or value to everyone except for her daddy. Years ago we saw Tiffany show up at a nice restaurant with a guy who called her Tif. I don’t recall seeing him since. She didn’t show up at the New Years Eve dance. What does Tiffany do on weekends anymore? Has she wondered why she hasn’t been seen with a boy for ages?

We all need a little poetry:.She Walks in BeautyBy Lord Byron .She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that’s best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes; Thus mellowed to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

.One shade the more, one ray the less, Had half impaired the nameless grace Which waves in every raven tress, Or softly lightens o’er her face; Where thoughts serenely sweet express, How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

.And on that cheek, and o’er that brow, So soft, so calm, yet eloquent, The smiles that win, the tints that glow, But tell of days in goodness spent, A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!
