Colds are pretty much harmless, normal rules apply. Fever may be a sign of something more serious, and is often accompanied by digestive distress- copious fluids only, to flush the system.
Another for “feed both” – the antibodies need their nutrition. I even drink sugared Mountain Dew instead of unsweetened ice tea or Coke with Splenda because it also soothes the throat.
Actually, my wife gave me some very good advice that works for us. When you feel a cold coming on, drink massive amounts of water. It flushes it through your system. But, you have to start right away.
Eat whatever healthy foods you can tolerate and drink lots of liquids (including plenty of water) is what I’d normally say, but I feel so good I want everybody to be happy -so
