Some kids got suspended from school today. Oh my... What happened? Well, they were playing hangman, and the cops came and got 'em. Wait. I thought hangman was that game where you guest words. Exactly! So they were both drawing murdered stick men in class, and here come the cops with guns and handcuffs!

From what I hear about Zero Tolerance in American schools, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if today’s strip was taken from a real life event.

And they were released to their parents who allowed them to play realistic violent video games for the term of their suspension…

My best guess is that the boys did something to get them arrested outside of school and they just happened to be playing hangman when the police caught up with them.. Something similar happened when I was at work one day, the police showed up and questioned another employee, it turned out he’d been joy riding with some friends the previous day and they got caught by the owner of the farm they’d been riding through. What my coworker didn’t know was that his friends had stolen the car before they picked him up. He got off with a strong warning, but I think his friends ended up in jail.

If a kid gets in trouble for making his pop tart look like a gun, this isn’t that nuts.

It’s really sad. Today’s kids are going to grow to be as emotionless and inactive as robots when their elders take away the fun things I’m sure most of us grew up doing. I’ve read where kids can’t play tag because it’s deemed too dangerous.
