I guess next week they’ll be in college and leaning from their liberal professors to blame conservatives for their student loan debt.

Interesting that this is the book that Opus “retired” into.

    An omen?

C Davies… Sundays, new (for now), weekdays, re-runs… possibly forever.

    Get used to it.

Trudeau is 65…he may decide he has a few more years of dailies in him when he’s free from current projects…. but hey, he might be 70 by then.

So tell me… are you going to stay at your job every day till you’re 76? 87? 103?

If the daily strip has to continue forever… who should write and draw it when Trudeau can’t any more?

You ready to take up the pen?

Reply to rpmurray: I didn’t need liberal prof to blame conservatives for my loan debt. I was in debt because my family didn’t want to pay for ed. for a girl (yes, in the 1980’s). While I was selling my class ring and clothes and anything else I had, holding jobs whenever I could get them, and scrambling for any grant or loan to stay in school so I wouldn’t end up in a dead-end job with no health care and barely enough to live, William Bennett was doing his best to cut school loans. He said they were just party and stereo money. My debt was not his fault, but he sure as h-e-double hockey sticks didn’t help!

and rpmurray: And every penny was paid back, during the Reagan/Bush I years when the tax breaks for student loan debt had been eliminated. And I’m now a self-supporting, tax-paying, lefty Unitarian musician. So stuff it!

thank you, QuiteDragon. Not rich, but doing well. It just amazes me how many conservatives never had to get on in life without family to support them. Some of us just don’t have that luxury!

Always the two ditches sling mud at each other! I spent part of my life wallowing in each ditch, then tried the middle-of-the-road. That proved to be ineffectual so I’ve stayed off the road ever since and will probably die lost in the woods but at least the trolls won’t get me.

My stepgrandmother reportedly was a lousy singer. When she’d sing lullabies to her youngest son, he’d say, " ’Top, it, mama! ’TOP it!"

What cute and smart babies. Some of them do start forming words pretty early and they only do this when the parents are around, for some reason.

And also interesting to see the telepathic communication between the twins. Some say twins can develop their own language with each other.

Does that special bond between twins exist only among identical twins? Because clearly , these kids are fraternal.

Interestingly, the one that looks like Alex learned to talk first.

The government intervention in education by subsidizingstudent loans is projected to cause the same financial collapse as did the government meddling in housing loans. Student loan debt now exceeds credit card debt, in excess ofone trillion dollars. In addition many colleges have converted to profit centers, see Walden, and raised tuition %1000 in the past 30 years. So the actions of big nanny government has artificially driven the cost of education out of the range of many people. Look up the facts.

My two cents and congrats to MiHorn for your success.

As usual, you have your facts wrong. Yes, a majority medical doctors said they would vote for Romney in 2012 — my brother not being one of them — but not 90%.According to the conservative website Daily Caller, 55% planned to vote for Romney, 36% for Obama. The remainder were undecided or did not say for whom they were going to vote.-http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/01/survey-doctors-choose-romney-over-obama/?onswipe_redirect=no-Among scientists (and I aint talking about Art History or Comparative Lit), only 6% identify as Republicans, 55% as Democrats, and the remainder said “don’t know” according to Pew Research Poll.-http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/science/2010/12/lab_politics.html-It amazes me how a funny but innocuous cartoon about babies is used as a platform for political diatribes. Go out and interact with REAL people. Talk about sports, family. Baseball season is only a week.Try to find joy in life that doesn’t come from putting someone else down.
