Not to get religious or anything, but yesterday’s Old Testament reading in church was Adam and Eve and the serpent. Even though it doesn’t say “apple” in the text, that’s how we always portray it. With that in mind, I couldn’t help noticing the fruit being used as bait to tempt Dr. Mel and Winky.

Lobster, chocolate truffles, duck a l’orange, premium ice cream, oysters (I am a woman of simple tastes. Expensive, but simple)

but on 2nd thought, this maybe the true red delicious parent fruit. Modern version has been so inbred to look nice that it has lost all taste.
