A symbolic transformation here? Aren’t raccoons known for being tricksters and / or thieves?

Well what would be the natural enemy of a raccoon? We have a cat and a mouse, how about a raccoon and a chicken maybe?

By the folds i her suit, I know Sarah has “changed.” It would have been the ultimate cosmic joke if she turned out to be immune from the virus/radiation and remained a human.

I would make her a caterpillar.Not very anthro. at least not at first.That would lead into another story where she spins herself a cocoon and transforms into a butterfly-anthro.

As a fan of the strip “Sabrina Online”, I would find it amusing to find Sarah transformed into a skunk. Sabrina is an anthro skunk (complete with 3 fingered hands) and has a boyfriend named Richard who is an anthro racoon.

Wonder if Sarah’s name is Magill and she calls herself Lil?

I’m kind of puzzled by Sarah’s reaction. What did she expect Jim to look like, Clark Gable? I mean as mutations go, Jim was fortunate to get a fairly lateral transformation. While most of the mutants I’ve seen in Endtown are anthropomorphic mammals, we have also seen a duck, a crab, a fish, a worm and a snail. Hopefully Sarah has lucked out as well.

The natural enemies of raccoons are coyotes, great horned owls, foxes, wolves, large cats, humans.

With regards to my question from yesterday of what Jim and Sarah will do once freed from the biosuits. I’m guessing that passionate kissing is out of the question.

don’t worry, we like raccoons! There’s a Sly Cooper movie coming out next year, and Rocket Raccoon is going to be in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Of course there will be endless “watch your stuff” jokes but at least you won’t have to live in a zip lock bag anymore.

" There’s a Sly Cooper movie coming out next year…"-What?! I knew it! Sooner or later they would make a movie about him and his gang! I already played 3 of the Sly Cooper video games series from PS2. I have yet play Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (I’m getting a PS3 this month) as well as a crossover video game in which he (along with Bently, a turtle) meets both Ratchet & Clank and Jax & Daxter!

Depends on one’s definition of finger, when I said “three fingered” I didn’t include the thumb so Sabrina (the skunk) and Richard (the racoon, his parents named him after Richard Nixon) have a total of 4 digits, just like Endtown’s mutants

You are both acting like Jim & Sarah are longtime friends of Wally and Holly. Just here (http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2014/01/22) they called them ‘creeps’, ‘barbarians’ and ‘dwarves’. Also them offing their fellow topsiders (instead of say, stunning them) almost killed the whole group. Wally was manhandled by Jim – which would be quite humiliating for someone who wasn’t small until some years ago. And finally – Jim especially seems like someone who likes to act the tough guy. He wanted to transform, and now he’s freaking out about it. That’s kind of silly in the first place. Besides: Wally’s always had a VERY independent streak. He’s probably not sure if he wants to get involved with Jim & Sarah beyond this night, and he’s clearly using the humor both to get a little back at Jim, and keeping his distance. I don’t know if you read the same cartoon as me, but in mine Wally’s always been rough around the edges (I mean, how many times have we seen him fight or prepare to fight? 20 times?). His good sides being that he doesn’t want to kill people, and he loves & loves Holly. If you read on because you think Wally some angel, you should probably have quit a long time ago…

I was just looking back at last week…I notice Sarah made Jim promise he’d stick by her no matter what. She didn’t actually promise to stick by him, though.

I think what I find weirdest is that the biosuit still doesn’t fit Jim, like how Linda’s seemed to shrink down after her transformation.

I propose that Sarah will be a little “stinker”…

Back to the web comic…well with one down and one to go,we still don’t know (until tomorrow) what Sarah’s fate willbe. Perhaps like “Millie” (from Ozy & Millie)?

With Sarah’s luck, she’ll turn into a crayfish (and you know how much ’coons like those. ;-D)

Maybe she won’t be an enemy species, who gets on well with raccoons? She could be anything, but now otters, and otters otter B fun!
