Oh how sweet, naming your new baby Mildred Blanche, after a 98 year old woman.Burl isn’t smart enough to tell who is the attorney and who is the criminal.Did the soap dish eat the soap? What else does Jerry have to do, its not like his part time job at the Men’s Store is important, or that he actually sells anything. Would you buy a suit from him?Inquiring minds want to know.
My mother had jury duty once that lasted one day. It was a civil case. The case was dismissed for “lack of merit”. Burl is right. It may not last very long. lol
Burl wants Jerry to serve on a jury so he can go to the trial then talk to Jerry every evening about the trial and how guilty the defendant is. He wouldn’t be there if he wasn’t guilty.Jury duty = free food, free parking, time off work, show off, and mainly the chance to meddle in someone else’s life. I don’t see any negatives for Burl.
Boy, I love your humor, crabbear!!!! Keep the jokes-a-comin! You are better than Richard Pryor, or Steve Martin, or Bill Cosby! You get me rolling on the floor laughing!!!!
I have Jury Duty coming up this month, but at least it’s a local court (N of me, not all the way S into downtown). I do not expect to serve, however, as I never hesitate to voice my opinions which are usually not what the lawyers want.
When all else fails, I tell them that I don’t believe in the jury system (true) because who wants their fate decided by a bunch of people too stupid to get out of jury duty?

I would think that “Read TV Guide” would be at the top of the list, not the bottom.

I don’t think either of them should be chosen for jury duty.
He’ll just have to sit at the court house all day just to be told " we have the jury so every one else can go home"
I’ve been there twice. Made a whole $12.00 each for a days missed work.
I think if they did get on they would find anyone not guilty as gullebel as they are

I see they have another grand daughter coming into their world.. Will we get to see her? Or is it hopeful wishing?
.They certainly don’t need another to dumb down. and get fat.
Maybe it’s a child that did run and get away from them. Then she’ll be safe, well maybe.

Why torture yourself, if you don’t enjoy this comic—if you continue then, you must be a masochist.
