if they didn’t remove the spot, he should not have had to pay at all, but they’d still charge for the “effort” involved in the failure. it just seems so wrong, somehow.

Speaking of ten spots in pockets…
I once found a ten spot in a second hand coat I bought.
Also, I used to leave a ten spot in the pocket of a lab coat at work at Christmas time for some lucky worker at the cleaners.

I know of several Masters and Doctors grads who put a five or ten-spot in the pages of their dissertation, just to see if anyone would find it…
