Frank says, "This is my friend, Ernie, that I was telling you about. Go ahead, ask him anything!" Man says, "What literary character sais, "to thine own self be true"?" Ernest says, "Polonius in Shakespeare's "Hamlet," Act one, scene three." Frank says, "Name the three most abundant elements in the earth's crust." Ernest says, "By weight, oxygen, silicon and aluminum." Man says, "Where is the highest ski chairlift?" Ernest says, "Breckenridge, Colorado...but it might soon be surpassed by one in Kashmir!" Frank says, "Ernie is totally obsessed with trivia..." Frank says, "He's become a quizzical fitness fanatic!"

As one of my friends said of me “you’re an abyss of useless and arcane trivia.” I thought that was a very cool compliment.

ejcapulate, how fortunate you are to have such an intelligible friend. Mine said I’m a “babbling idiot” and I’m not sure how he meant it.

Sad but true: Rocky and Bullwinkle ran from 1959 to 1964. I was born in 1979 so I have no excuse for knowing this stuff.
