Nothing like meeting cheerful old friends when out for a walk with the dog.

Gerald tends to exaggerate.

Maybe Gerald misread the obituary person in the newspaper: Earl Bickles, Rickles or Dickles.

Now he’s got Earl worried.

Earl does not need a doctor ,this guy does !

Some folks are so uplifting.

Is cousin Gerald a clairvoyant by any chance?

Well, if Cousin Gerald waits long enough, both he and Earl will both be dead. No way to around it.

Death becomes him. Still time to max out the credit cards with the ‘paid on death’ clause.

Check for a pulse.

The ’ KEY WORD ’ Maybe.

That is what happens where obituaries are free to post in newspapers. I can think of two people right off whose obituaries I read twice.

Hopefully Earl will stay alive for a very long time to come and yes I know it’s a comic strip.xxx

One of my sons had occasion to read his name in the obits. The guy had the same name, but was 30 years older.

Well if Earl were really dead then there is really no point in seeing the doctor
