Nothing’s been said, but if you read between the lines, you can tell it was hepatitis…. they tried to keep it out of the papers… but you can see that he’s very jaundiced.

Sadly, that’s what happens… they start hanging around with rolling papers…. next they’re doing lines….

I wonder if the Mother’s name is Paige.

The doctor told him to take a couple of PDF files and call him in the morning.

He’s faking, it’s written all over his face.

Tear-able….snerk

He’s pretending. The school bully threatened to beat him to a pulp.

Rip:I feel like I’m burning up.Mom: That explains your temperature of 451.

Wouldn’t want to take the chance of going anywhere when one feels tear-able. Could be the shreds.

And, to make it even worse, he just got a paper cut.

Perhaps Rip’s heading for a perforated appendix.

Then we can all shed a tear along the dotted line.

That’s a tearable pun.

But his sister Paige can collect his homework for him.

His little brother is named Linus. And of course, Dad is Big Chief.

Why are parents so mean and thoughtless when they name their kids? Didn’t they realize that naming their kid Rip would make him a target for the other kids?

Definitely not a name you want to stick on a kid. Rereading my own comment, I realized I was thinking of my own experience. My parents (good people, not mean and thoughtless, just not thinking like children think) stuck me with the initials PP and a last name that was also a bit of a handicap. Took me a long time to grow comfortable with my name.

He feels like sheet. Not that he doesn’t usually, just more so.
