Appreciation, or worship even, needs to be earned, not legislated. If a man can’t earn respect he certainly is not going to get it by making a formal month out of it. Similar with women, to lean on a month where such appreciation has to be given shows a certain weakness of character. To have such a month is fine, to depend on it for support or the appreciation we all deserve, not so much.
