Hit points. Your character in any strategy game (pen and paper, cards and game board, console, computer, online or not) has a certain number of “hit points” which determine their health.

In the broadest sense, one tries not to deplete said hit points through foolish/clumsy/foolhardy actions. Or someone’ll be calling for a priest (that’s my specialty: healing, curing and resurrecting other players in my group).

What scares me is that, at age 67, I understood that.

My mom, 80, understood that. She used to play in my D&D game with my husband, sister and daughter. I have a cool mom. :o)

I worked with a man once that got very upset when he just suspected someone made a pass at his wife.(And at other times brag about the passes he had made!)

175 hit points in a single slap? That’s a dragon-slayin’ hand that the Wiz has on him. Poor gentleman in the bar would be so totally supremely toast.

Did anyone notice that it was a -175 hp? And wouldn’t that actually make the guy who was hit stronger?
