I’ve been reading this strip for years and just now noticed that “You will learn” logo at the top of this page. It’s perfect. Has it always been there?
IMHO, the original series was rather hokey but introduced us to a whole new realm that definitely captivated young boys like me. The Next Generation had the most diversity in writing and plot lines. Deep Space Nine exceeded its stationary limitations with a sweeping story arc of intergalactic warfare, which is a far more likely prospect than the Roddenberry’s utopian visions, should we ever meet sentient beings out there in the vastness. Voyager was the best overall series, although the crew and its captain precipitated just as many of their own dangers as they innocently fell victim to. And finally, the oft overlooked Enterprise had a great cast and good writing but simply couldn’t overcome the challenges of being a prequel.
Meyer writes a great strip, and I continue to be amazed at how creatively he expresses his regard for Star Trek from so many different angles. May he live long and prosper!
Star Trek – TNG was the worst of all of them. Boring wooden characters that you never cared about. They tried to be to cerebral and not enough action, Picard would tell the alien to go home and it would say oops my bad and leave. The ship would be invaded and they would be walking around like nothing is happening.AS for Enterprise they should have stuck to the forming of the Federation plot line and it may have worked. Otherwise it was not Farscape or Babylon 5 but was better than most shows

Anyone with any sense knows that “Deep Space Nine” was the best Star Trek series.

IMHO, TOS had the best captain, TNG had the best stories, DS9 had the best characters, and VOY had the best scenery.

And yet, for all the technology in Star Trek, they never found a cure for baldness. :P

I like them all, but TOS still is IMHO the most amazing.

I could have done without the holodeck. It was what the writers went to when they couldn’t come up with a good story.
