Is Rat going to do tweets by other dictators too, or is he Stalin?

It is interesting over on that social networking site to run into present-day Italian neo-fascists, to whom Mussolini is still a hero. But Rat’s version is a much more hip totalitarian statist. Having an interest both in history and in fantasy, I’d pay a buck for his book!

“The bolsheviks hated the mensheviks despite both being similar and ultimately went to war…”

Oddly, @Il_Duce is a real Twitter handle. Only one tweet, though, and this isn’t it.

You’re suggesting that Obama is a “dictator”? This is such an abuse of language that I can’t imagine how your brain doesn’t implode. How can you compare him to Al Assad, Gadaffi, Mugabe, Karimov etc? At the end of his term of office he will leave the White House and in the meantime he uses the lawful tools he has been given to try to get his policies through. His success at this is patchy.
Is it, perhaps, the fact that he doesn’t supinely allow his political opponents to just have their own way? Ah, indeed:
“ce chien-ci est très méchant; si on l’attaque, il se défend!”
