If panel 4 shows that he’s backing up, what part of the car is that in panel 5?

Oh, Elly’s going to love this one when the hardware store delivers the replacement track.

And that’s why they got divorced.

This is how you get divorced nowadays

@Squizzums—-I agree. In panel 5 it appears that the whole car is still in the garage, now facing the opposite direction, & the right front fender has hit the door track. Optical illusion?

No, couldn’t blame my wife, back then I was single, plus there were witnesses.

Yes, but comparing panels 5 and 6, 5 is inside the garage with what is almost surely the right front fender against the track.. meaning the back of the car is still inside the garage. So, I’m with CFinFL and Squizzums. Unless, of course “driving in” means “backing in” in which case I’ll agree that most of the car is already backed into the garage and a slight turn of the steering wheel brought the right front fender against the track.

I wouldn’t hesitate a second to blame the damage on my wife’s driving…….and she doesn’t give it a second thought to blame me when the check book doesn’t balance. It’s a symbiotic relationship that works well for us.

“Night-Gaunt49 said, about 5 hours agoLynn’s Notes:I got away with this drawing, perhaps because there was no Internet to give me an instant blast for inconsistency: The car isn’t backing out of the garage, it hit the frame while driving in!”

Huh? Definitely backing out! Car in garage, car partly out of the garage, car further out of garage, then, weirdness—car on wrong side—but out of garage. So, definitely Lynn’s Notes are either fake or inconsistent!

Just like Adam and Eve! Took it like a man and blamed it on his wife. :o)

It seems to me that we may be over-analyzing just a tad.

He’s backing out…plain to see that fact. Own up Lynn! Or you could blame it on your ex. You could say that he drew the column today.

Oh yay. Another example of casual sexism being treated like a joke.

John grow up and face your blunder. Accidents happen. This is your own fault for lusting about Ted and not paying attention.
