I find it hard to believe that the only two possible people who could run this country would be another bush or another clinton. But then I look at the other hopefuls two years ago, and I think, well, maybe either of those wouldnât be so bad.
If we do end up with Clinton vs. Bush, Iâll take it as a sign that the ruling class just isnât putting their A-game into fooling us anymore. Vote Libertarian. Or withdraw your consent and donât vote at all.
Oh NO!!! We in Florida have already had waaay too much Bushs__t!! I canât even imagine what another Republican will do to this country let alone another Bush!
Not sure if Hilary will be the right choice, but surely there MUST be someone out there who can deal with both parties!Hahahahahahaha!!
I used to work with a man who went to school with G. Bush. He said that anytime he went to a social function, he knew where to find Bushâpassed out in a corner somewhere. It must be nice to have so much money that you can live like thatâwhile your non-monied peers are working their butts off to succeedâand not have to worry about your future.
Yeah, we need another four years of ObamaâŠit worked for FDRâŠWPA CCC New Deal⊠all programs that helped the working class. YeahâŠObamaâŠfour more years!!
We donât need another Bush or ClintonâŠ.or Roosevelt or Kennedy. Regardless of philosophy or ideology we need fresh candidates from non-dynastic families.
Alas, So many ludicrous statements and so little time to correct.
Wasnât Wâs college grades better than Al Goreâs or Obamaâs?
Gore only wanted to re-count in Florida until he was in the lead, not the whole state.
Rush never promised to leave the country. You are making stuff up whole cloth.
The non-moslem parts of the world have the power to completely eradicate radical jihadists but they must have the will to do so.
Rush did SAY that he would leave the country (and he did say it in public), but whether or not that constitutes a âpromiseâ is another matter entirely. (Not that Rush ever keeps his promisesâŠâŠ.or his wedding vows.) The Muslims are at least as busy in-fighting as they are fighting the rest of us (the radical ones, I mean: most Muslims are just trying to get by, like most people from other religions, and arenât interested in fighting.) As for college grades: surely youâve heard of the infamous âgentlemanâs Câ that legacies get, deserve it or not?
Maybe, in hindsight, it would have been better to have had Gore as President. As we can see today, he would have bungled the job badly and certainly would have prevented the election of the disaster who now has the office. The economy would still have cratered, because âaffordable housingâ was the Demâs dream and Gore would have been unable to stop it any more than Bush could. As an aside, I see Trudeau is still sticking with his Supreme Court fantasy, even though the liberal newspapers of Florida verified that Bush did win the state.
Sure elect another Utilitarian, whatâs 25 trillion in debt and 55% if the people out of work or underemployed? At least disabled people will face capital punishment, and others.
@wcorvi â the Bush and Clinton are the only two reasonable people who are crazy enough to spend billions to get a job that pays less than half a million a year. All the others are too smart to take the thankless job, age inducing job.
@seasisme â dude unemployment is back to were it was when Bush was in office before the economic crisis, 6.3%.
As for underemployment, yes we have labor assets not being fully utilized and other labor assets not being paid a wage reflective of their economic contribution to the corporation that profits from their labor. But the President cannot raise minimum wage on his own nor alter the compensation of corporate executives.
What creates jobs is demand which is caused by consumption which requires a viable middle class that has excess income to spend on discretionary items.
Sorry to be dumb, but what exactly are the four different countries? Iraq (twice!) and Afghanistan, obviously. And then there was Panama. So what is the fourth? Are we counting Kuwait? Maybe that seems obvious to some? If the internationally recognised ruling government asks for military support does that count as an invasion? Or are we talking about Somalia? Was that an invasion? If we are talking about every single instance of US military action overseas then I think the list gets to be longer than four. Werenât there US military strikes on Libya? Or do all and only ground forces count?
Everyone needs to vote if they can. Then it should be accepted, however it falls. But, making roadblocks to voting isnât right. Cynicism to the point of not voting isnât right either. It only means more victories for the GOP since they always vote, as noted by Kaffekup.
And yet if you added HWâs accumulated debt and George Wâs accumulated debt (3 total terms) it would be, combined, less than half of what Obama overspent in his first term. Dâoh.
âless than half of what Obama overspent in his first term.â.On what? Two wars? Who started those and left them off the budget? The recovery act full of useless republican tax cuts? If youâre going to say food stamps, a trillion dollars of food stamps would be piled up on the street corners.Maybe on a recession that started, when?
Rush said he would leave the country for âmedical careâ if necessary which isnât the same as moving to another country. Look up his transcripts.http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2010/03/09/no_i_m_not_moving_to_costa_rica
Are you suggesting Bush and Gore received âgentlemanâs Câsâ and if you are what would you call Obamaâs grades, âaffirmative action Câs?â
Not all Moslems are radical jihadists but almost all radical jihadists are Moslem. It is the radical ones causing the problems that need to be dealt with.
In 2000 Gore requested a limited county by county recount not a statewide recount. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_election_recount

No one in their right mind would vote for a Bush, which I suppose is why probably around 50% of Americans will
