The ‘sun’ is currently in the southern hemisphere, giving the Aussies a blast of a summer and melting the sea ice around the South Pole. Seasons is not the same as Climate.
I’ll believe in Climate change, Global Warming when Al Gore stops and others, stop flying around in their 707’s, 737’s or whatever, Air Conditioned mansions, cars. You think they have the AC set at 80 during the summer and the furnace set at 55 during the winter? Those people leave a bigger carbon footprint every day than what you or I leave in two months time.
Re Michigan Winters: It’s true about temps not getting above freezing for weeks at a time. Moved away from there in the early 80’s and haven’t missed freezing my butt off trying to get to work on time…
Just to brag a little - where I live in the Pac NW - it was mostly sunny in the 60’s yesterday! Crocus’ are in bloom & daffodils are getting ready to open up soon. No snow yet this year & no freeze warnings in the 10 day forecast.
I feel sorry for the folks going thru the great blizzard of 2010. It’s been said before - it’s not “global warming” but weather extremes that we need to be prepared for - good insulation keeps homes cool in the summer - warm in the winter & utility bills under control. Mother Nature will take care of the rest…
I agree, kit_jefferson, here in western Washington it’s now the ‘winter rainy season” next it will be the “spring rainy season’ followed by the “summer rainy season” and so on.

Alright, I’ll be the first to touch this: Then where the hell is the sun in Michigan, or at least above freezing temperatures.

@FishStix
At least you saw that is was a snow globe, and not necessarily a comment on the globe!
Relax people, it’s a comic strip, not part of a vast global conspiracy.

When it’s hot, it’s climate. When it’s cold it’s just weather. Don’t you people know anything?

We have climate change every three months or so. Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter. Every year, as a matter of fact, this occurs.
