At one time my husband and I noticed a family of squirrels that seemed to enjoy jumping out in front of cars, so we made this up (to the Addams Family theme):
♫ They’re fuzzy and they’re furryAcross the street they scurryTo die they’re in a hurrythe Lemming FamilyDa da da dum * screech * * splat * ♫
When I was a kid we had an Old English sheepdog. She was the newest member of the household, so she new that our cats were to be left alone. Cats that walked by the windows out front however were fair game. TWICE!!! she broke my mom’s window going after them. One of our older cats “Smokey” loved to snuggle up to her. She would move from the couch to the loveseat to get away from him. He’s just follow over. He was definitely doing it to be a brat since he had ignored all the other dogs we’d owned over the years. lol
I recall a party we had a few years ago, where a “guest” walked through the atrium screen door out to the deck. I am guessing he might have paused if the wood framed door was closed; but then, who knows?

Besides, harassing the dog is the cat’s job.

Don’t worry Odie, the squirrels will soon be roadkill, because they can’t run fast enough

VIDEO GAME GARF?!

The text is different, and the footprints are an addition, but that’s the Garfield from the unreleased Atari 2600 game. Neat.

The title panel references a cancelled Garfield game for the Atari 2600.

the title panel is probably a reference to the old 1980s video games
