I have a very common (the most common, in fact) last name and first initial (in real life).

I was an Internet pioneer and one of the first to have broadband, and before that a modem that relied on the telephone wire, in my home. The Internet was so new that, first on Mindspring with dial-up and then on Warner Cable/Brighthouse on broadband I was able to use my first initial and last name without a number.

Now, of course, I have my own domains, so that’s pretty easy.
